What Is a HydraFacial Treatment?
A HydraFacial treatment is a non-invasive procedure similar to a regular facial. It can address dryness, acne, and wrinkles if done on a regular basis. A mechanized wand is used along with special serums to deliver customized care for your skin problems. It brings more dramatic results than regular facial treatments by improving overall skin texture.
Applying sunscreen will help prolong the effects and prevent premature skin aging. Depending on your skin type and goals, you may want to come back for additional sessions after 2 to 4 weeks. Including HydraFacial in your skin care regimen will result in an improved complexion.
HydraFacial FAQs
Am I a Good Candidate for HydraFacial?
If you are concerned about blemishes such as acne and blackheads, then you may be a good candidate for a HydraFacial procedure. If you want to reduce the signs of aging, you will benefit from periodic HydraFacial treatments.
A HydraFacial is good for almost all skin types and can be tailored specifically to address your skin concerns. If you are pregnant, you may want to consult with your doctor first before undergoing this treatment.
The Procedure
A HydraFacial procedure is completed in three parts. First, a wand with a vortex-like function is used to clean your skin and remove dirt and impurities. A peel is also applied to your skin for resurfacing and exfoliation. Then a vacuum-like attachment will be added to the wand to suck out the debris from your pores. Finally, a pen attachment will apply a hydrating serum to deliver antioxidants to your skin.
