Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Thousands of women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the U.S. alone. Although there have been a number of medical advancements over the years that have made treatments for breast cancer much more effective, it is still very important to spread awareness about the issue to help others know how to check for it and what options they have for treating it.

October is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our team at Tallahassee Plastic Surgery Clinic  is dedicated to spreading information about breast cancer to as many people as we can. All year long, we provide women who have survived breast cancer with breast reconstruction surgery  so that they can feel comfortable with their appearance. We are proud to offer this service so that we can help survivors through their recovery.
