Bathing After Your Breast Augmentation Surgery
8/31/2018
The recovery period after a breast augmentation surgery is not long or extremely painful. The main thing you need to be concerned about during your recovery is following the post-operative instructions provided to you.
One important thing you should know is that you should not submerge your breasts underwater during the first three to four weeks of your recovery. The incisions around the breasts are still closing and healing, and submerging the breasts can lead to a number of complications. You will also need to wait around 36 hours before you can shower.
At Tallahassee Plastic Surgery Clinic , we want to help make your recovery as quick and easy as possible so that you can fully enjoy your results. Contact our office today to schedule a consultation.
