Tallahassee Liposuction Procedure
Liposuction removes unwanted fat from specific areas of the body,
including the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms,
chin, cheeks and neck, giving the body a more sculpted appearance.
Good candidates for liposuction include people who eat well and
exercise regularly, but are unable to reduce fat in specific, targetable
areas of their body. Liposuction is not a cure for obesity, and
can actually be detrimental for a person with obesity problems.
Several different methods for liposuction are available, such as
the Tumescent, Super-wet, Ultrasonic assisted, and Power assisted.
The methods are all relatively similar, and the main differences
come into play in the method used to soften or break up the fat
prior to removing it from the body.
Though the benefits of liposuction are only cosmetic, it does allow
skin to stretch back to its normal shape and regain a more youthful
appearance. Liposuction can only be performed on areas of the body
which have enough fat already there; removal from areas with too
little fat can result in an unbalanced appearance and surgical trauma.
Because of the scope of the surgery, the many different parts of
the body it can include, and the nuances and details involved, patients
will have a consultation session with one of the physicians at Tallahassee
Plastic Surgery Clinic. The staff and physicians will work with
each patient to map out a plan for the individual’s procedure,
and provide the support and care to recover from the surgery. They
are available to answer your questions about Tallahassee
liposuction procedures.
